The camels live in those areas with strong sudden changes of temperature of up to 60°C between day and night, their coats carry out the function of temperature thermo-regulator.

The fibre is obtained from the brushing of young camels, from the undercoat that is shed in spring and is then collected.
Fine, gentle to the touch, soft and pleasant, it is an excellent thermal insulator because it holds a lot of heated air that prevents thermal exchange and keeps in the heat. It does not matt.
The colour of the long coat ranges from light beige to dark brown.
