Cashmere, or kashmir, is a very rare and precious fiber, made from the undercoat of the Hircus goat originally from Kashmir. The coat of the animal differs in two layers of fur, a coat formed by the outer hair thick rough, hard and rough, called the giarre, and a lower surface, an undercoat of hair (the throat) called duvet, woolly and soft
Climatic conditions of these areas and day and night temperature excursion encourage the development of the duvet, which has the peculiarity of to thermo-regulate animal's body, protecting it from low and high temperatures.
In the spring season, during the suit, the hair is gathered by hand with long hair combs, so the little goats are not traumatized. The two fibers are separated and this process is only used in duvet. For every goat you get about 200 g. fine animal hair, of which only half is used.
The color is very variable from cream to gray, brown to black. To achieve our garments we use only the best quality cashmere, Duvet from the steppe and desert areas of the highlands of China, Mongolia, Tibet, Afghanistan, with a craftsmanship working.
